ABOUT LIONS DEFENSE

Lions Defense is a firearms training and consulting company that focuses on perfecting the fundamentals of marksmanship for self defense.  Lions Defense is owned and operated by a US Army veteran that is a current Law Enforcement officer in the Chicago suburbs. Our philosophy is ensuring that firearm owners are properly trained and comfortable with their firearms and gear.  We at Lions Defense want everyone to have the proper knowledge and training to protect themselves and loved ones.

Matt Lyons

Matt Lyons is the owner and Director of Training of Lions Defense. Matt is an Army veteran and has been serving as a law enforcement officer for over a decade. Matt has worked on tactical teams, gangs and narcotics, field training and is the training officer for the agency he works at.

Greg Antor

After years in the fire service and a passion for training and teaching. Always having interest in firearms it wasn’t until early in my adult life that I got hands on with firearms. My moment was when someone attempted to get into my house. From there on I decided it was time to take charge of the next step in protecting myself and my family. Through regular practice and training I found my mentorship into being an instructor in basic weapon fundamentals and CCW. Continuing onto the next chapter to stretch into tactical paramedic, security and executive protection. Continuing to learn from mentors instructors and my students keeps me hungry to keep training teaching and establishing confidence in all of my students.
